Nexo averages your portfolio balance over the 30-day holding period and pays 0.5% of it as a bonus, split evenly between you and the person who invited you. Your half is 0.25%, paid in NEXO Token, the platform's own coin.
In numbers: $5,000 held all month pays you $12.50. In Nexo's own example, a $120,000 average pays $300 each. The $2,500 cap needs a $1 million average, which is also the most that counts.
Balances from $5,000 to $25,000 are paid in one go. Above $25,000, Nexo splits the bonus into three equal monthly payments. Because it's an average, money added late or taken out during the holding month lowers your figure, so move the full amount in early and leave it.

Yes. This page was checked on 24 September 2026 against nexo.com/referral and the invite page behind this link, which both show the 0.5% split and the $2,500 each maximum. The link comes from the author's own active Nexo account, and only terms from those two pages are used here.
