What the Saxo Bank sign-up bonus pays
What the Saxo Bank bonus is and what counts
Commission credit is not cash. It's a separate balance that covers trading commissions: you pay the standard fee on a trade, and at the end of that trading day Saxo refunds eligible fees from the credit until it's used up.
It lasts 90 days from your first deposit, and whatever is left after that expires. It can't be paid out, turned into cash or moved to another account. This is Saxo's referral offer for Central and Eastern Europe.
- Covered: commissions on stocks, ETFs, bonds, futures, exchange-traded options and crypto ETPs.
- Not covered: FX, FX options, CFDs and index CFDs.
- Commission on the main US and Euronext exchanges is 0.08% (minimum 1 USD or 1 EUR), so EUR 250 pays for a lot of orders inside the 90 days.
Does the Saxo Bank referral code still work?
We checked the link against Saxo's referral page and its Central and Eastern Europe referral terms on 24 September 2026, and the landing page showed EUR 250 that day. The link is the author's own, from an active Saxo account.
Saxo Bank invite code vs referral link
Saxo doesn't use codes for this offer. The referral travels with the link, which opens Saxo's referral page with the Sign up with referral button. Sign up from there and the offer is attached to your application.
Saxo emails you once the referral is complete, after you've signed up and funded the account. If it didn't go through, Saxo tells you that too.

Saxo Bank referral code questions
What is the Saxo Bank referral code?
Saxo uses a link, not a code. The link on this page carries the referral, so there's nothing to type.
Can I add the Saxo Bank referral code after signing up?
No. The reward only comes with a sign-up from the referral page. An account opened any other way doesn't get the EUR 250.
Which countries can use the offer?
Residents of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. Other Saxo regions run their own referral offers with different amounts.
How much do I have to deposit?
Saxo sets no minimum. The referral terms only ask that you deposit money within 30 days of the account being created.
Can I withdraw the EUR 250?
No. It refunds eligible trading commissions for 90 days and can't be paid out or converted to cash.
How will I know the referral worked?
Saxo sends an email once you've signed up through the referral page and funded the account. It also lets you know if the referral wasn't successful.
